Delivery and installation of 2 waste water reservoirs

Two large excavated reservoirs are provided with a geomembrane construction. The project near Bordeaux is the first of its kind for the region. For a fermentation plant, it is necessary to store and process the waste water. Since the sewage water spreads considerable smell, Regulations dictated the reservoirs tob e provided with a fully (en)closed cover.

The geomembranes are prefabricated in parts at the Genap plant and subsequently welded on site into one sheet. In each reservoir two mixers are installed which ensure that the waste water is optimally mixed.

On advice of Genap there has been chosen to use certified foils with durable resistance to the waste in the water. In total there is provided 80.000m3 storage capacity and the floating sheets are fitted with degassing floaters.
