In the Netherlands we are increasingly having to cope with heavy downpours or even cloudbursts. The sewers in inner city areas cannot deal adequately with the large amounts of water. In order to be able to store the rainwater quickly and in large amounts retention ponds or overflow reservoirs are constructed. 
 
Genap has constructed various reservoirs for various local authorities, engineering consultancies and contractors. HDPE foil with KIWA certificate, LDPE or Aquatex PVC is often used.
