GenafloatGenap also has a solution in its range for water reservoirs. This cover system prevents the growth of algae, prevents evaporation as well and to a large extent prevents the water from becoming dirty. We supply this cover under the name Genafloat.
The Genafloat EX is a durable floating cover sheet for water reservoirs that prevents the growth of algae. The sheet is made from Aquatex EX and is surrounded by a water-filled flexible PE hose and is anchored in the dike. The cover sheet smoothes out wave-forming and decreases the evaporation surface by 80-90%. The water-filled PE hose forms a sound barrier against the wind. In all, this is a quality solution that will guarantee you good water quality for many years.

Tensioned cover sheet
As well as a floating cover sheet we can also supply a tensioned cover sheet. This is made from Genatex 1000 PE banded fabric, colour black. The sheet has an open edge all round allowing a tube or heating pipe to be pushed around the edge. The sheet can then be tensioned using a strap and ratchet clasp.
