It can be on any scale: from a small pond in your garden or in a town garden to constructing an immense water feature for Center Parcs, and from a regular pond near an office building to the irregular contours of the monkey enclosure in the Beekse Bergen. What type of pond did you have in mind? Genap can help you with this. What does this mean?
Taking shape
A project often begins with a general impression or a quick sketch. Your imagination still has to crystallise into a definite form, or in other words, the project still has to take shape. Genap can assist you with advice right from that moment.
This means that we can give you advice about:
-
excavating and modelling the pond
-
the choice of material to use: PVC or Pondliner rubber foil
-
positioning the lead-throughs
-
positioning the overflows
-
connection to the filter systems
-
finishing the banks
-
connection to the walls, terraces etc.

Construction requirements
The pond lining must be resistant to all weather conditions. After all, it is not just to be a one-day pond, but a pond lining that has to be able to withstand tens of seasons. This is why the care that Genap takes with its foils is of very great importance.
If you wish it Genap can:
- prefabricate the sheets in any desired shape and size in our production halls
- lay the prefabricated sheets in the field expertly
- install the lead-throughs expertly
- and finish the edges carefully
In that case the whole project will be supervised by Genap, after which we will give a 10-year guarantee on all the work we have carried out.
Genap uses high quality EPDM foil from Firestone:
