Manure silo storage

Silo lining for manure storage
We have two different foils available that can be applied for manure storage.

Fecatex, 1mm thickness. This high quality PVC foil is UV stabilised and has a high chemical resistance. The colour is grey. This foil complies with the requirements as formulated in the technical construction guidelines for manure silos from the Ministries of VROM (Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment) and L&V (Agriculture and Fisheries) and also has a KIWA certificate. We have recently included EPDM liners in our range.  EPDM Pondliner rubber foil 1.02mm thickness. A highly elastic material with stretching capacity of 300% and a high resistance to aggressive substances. It has an exceptionally long lifetime with reference to UV resistance. This foil also complies with the technical construction guidelines for manure silos from the Ministries of VROM and L&V.

Silo delivery programme
Silos for the storage of manure are always supplied coated on both sides. Diameters from 1.82m to 30.95m and heights from 1.59m to 3.88m are available, with plate thicknesses from 1mm to 2mm.
 
Silo cover systems 

The Genatop

In this cap construction the stainless steel-316 beams make the silo cap a self-bearing whole. The beams increase the stability, also in more extreme situations such as higher wind forces and snow loading in combination with rain, freezing rain and the beginning of a thaw. This cap construction is flameproof if the roof has to collapse or shoot loose. Connection to other steel constructions, such as platforms and bridges is possible with this cap construction. Access to the silo can be achieved in a variety of ways. The material we use for this is a Genatex 850 or 1600 reinforced PVC foil.

The Airhat

The Airhat cover is manufactured from a high-quality, watertight, reinforced PVC foil, with high resistance to heat and UV radiation. The cover is attached to a circular ring set on the top of the tank and sealed to the tank wall.
Once constructed the Airhat is flated using a small electric blover with a power consumption similar to that of a 150 watt light bulb. With the blower in continuous operation, the cover takes the form of a dome which sheds precipitation very effectively.
