Fire service ponds serve as buffer storage for extinguishing water, such as on the Veluwe, where the fire service cannot make use of underground or above ground fire hydrants. 
 
These ponds often have the appearance of a decorative pond. The most commonly used foils are HDPE, LDPE or Aquatex PVC. The advantage of LDPE and Aquatex PVC is that these sheets are prefabricated in our production halls, thus saving time and money. On the other hand HDPE is more durable than the other foils named.
