Dredged material reservoirs or dredged material depots are constructed for the storage of dredged sludge that is removed when deepening sailing lanes, for example. The sludge is matured in these reservoirs so that it can eventually be processed or reused as secondary construction material.
 
Genap supplies, lays and assembles all possible geometrical and made to size solutions. Genap has various chemically resistant foils in its range suitable for the various sludge pollution classes.

The foil that is prescribed and used the most is the stiff HDPE 2 mm foil with KIWA certificate. Genap also uses very flexible and yet durable foils, such as Sarnafil MP 965-12 or the oil resistant foil Coolguard. A great advantage of these two last foils is that Genap can prefabricate the foil to size. This speeds up the installation of the reservoir and reduces the risks.
