It all began here in 1951 when our former director and founder, Mr Groenveld, came up with the brilliant idea of using what at that time was a revolutionary new material, namely plastic foil, to make it very much easier to store crops in clamps by covering them up.
 
From that day on everything went very quickly with the development of new products for the agricultural sector. Partly due to the stricter regulations concerning storage of manure the range was extended with special foils for storing manure in pits and silos. The next step was the development of fabric-reinforced materials that could be used as top covering, naturally with the advantage of the reduction of nuisance caused by smells and the reduction of emissions that are released during storage.
